Many different train options are available for your groups at the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad.
From vintage diesel to steam locomotives, our trains will transport your group through the scenic
mountains of West Virginia in comfort and style!
Our trains range from 1.5 hours to 8.5 hours in length, so we have something for everyone’s liking!
Oh boy, where do I start….let me just say ya can’t help but smile when you see the train pulling into the station and you hear that awesome whistle blow, then as it echoes through the valley.
“Almost Heaven – SURE IS!”
Wonderful trip, fun for all, beautiful, and historic ride. The ride was comfortable, the staff knowledgeable, and scenery sublime! I cannot imagine a better way to enjoy a vacation, time with family, and the gorgeous views.
“Loved the railroad”
We rode the Cass Railroad on the Bald Knob excursion. We had a blast! The cars have a guide who will answer all your questions, ours was a young man who had been doing this for 14 years we loved him. It advertised a Hobo Lunch and what we got was much more than anticipated.
“Great way to see the countryside”
We took the shorter 2-hour trip that leaves from Cass station. The open-air cars allowed mountain air and views in from all directions. The tour guide is knowledgeable and narrates history and construction as you climb the mountain to Whittaker Station.
